Interview coaching
Are you getting interviews but not getting the job offer you want?
This common experience is frustrating and disheartening and it can be difficult to determine what’s going wrong on your own. Working with a Career Drivers coach, can help you improve your skills and build your confidence.
Interviewing well requires the ability to confidently talk about your skills, experience and accomplishments to convince the employer you're the person for the job. This is something many people struggle with because it can feel like bragging. Some people get very nervous in interviews, especially if they really want the job, and forget what they wanted to say. Other people just don't know how to effectively answer open-ended interview questions such as “Tell me about yourself,” or behavioural questions like “Tell me about a time you….”
The good news is that interviewing is a skill that can be learned. Our coaches can help you build your interviewing confidence, articulate your experiences and understand what interviewers are looking for.
How the process works:
-
First, book a one hour interviewing consultation with a career coach to discuss your career goals and prior interviewing experience. The coach will share individualized tips and advice for interviews in your chosen field.
-
At this consultation, your coach will work with you to book your one and a half hour mock interview and feedback session. This mock interview will be tailored to the roles and industries where you are seeking work. Towards the end of the session, you'll receive verbal feedback about your interview performance.
-
After the mock interview session, you'll receive written feedback about your interview performance along with other interview preparation resources.
-
If you choose, you can add additional mock interview and feedback sessions with your coach as the more you practice, the better your interviewing skills will become.
Cost: $449 plus applicable taxes. This includes 2.5 hours of coaching and written feedback on your interview skills.
